FIT is the first faculty in country that has got license for distance learning by Ministry of Education that includes equally traditional learning and distance learning, thanks to high technology that FIT possesses, but also because of standardized methodology it implements. Distance learning is suitable for working students, or to those who don’t live in Belgrade. FIT succeeded in implementing same technology in in-class learning, forming the unique community where it became unimportant where but how. This e-Learning improved communication between professors and students and made open discussions possible worldwide. Studies through Internet and traditional studies have equal value concerning diploma and title.
 
At the moment there are 420 students studying at FIT over the internet, from all corners of the world including Greece, Austria, Spain, Germany, The United States of America, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.
